Introduction to Brown Environmental Services Facilities Affiliations |
Affiliations Brown Environmental leads a consortium of seven collaborating onsite remediation applicators, each operating in separate geographical regions. One key method of collaboration is in the sharing of the cost of research that is of common interest to the group. Other common points of collaboration include the sharing of information on application techniques, equipment performance, and field experiences. Additionally, Brown Environmental enjoys collaborative relationships with both the Temple University Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and the Life Sciences Department. Brown Environmental was chosen by the Ben Franklin Technology Partnership to receive funding for our ongoing microbial research program in 2005. Brown Environmental has partnered with Temple University in securing a $200,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Corsortium of Sustainable Technologies to study three remedial areas: bioremediation, chemical oxidation, and injection technology. |
