Multiple fluid sensors have been constructed within a vertical drill rod that detect the presence of injected fluids in real time. By driving multiple strings of sensors around an injection point and connecting all sensors to a datalogger, a three dimensional model of the injection fluid emplacement emerges. The goal of this development is to assist in the optimization of the project treatment and thereby reduce remedial time and client cost.
