Brown Environmental was retained to provide remedial project management services for the implementation of a $2M remedial action at a former Exxon Distribution Terminal. The remedial action included earth moving, ex-situ soil bioremediation, groundwater bioremedial treatment, remedial monitoring with mobile laboratories, and the backfilling of the remediated soil. Onsite remediated discharges included gasoline, diesel fuel, No. 4 heating oil and jet fuel products that impacted the both soil and ground water over a 5 acre area throughout the former AST farm. A total of 52,000 tons of impacted soil was excavated, treated and reused onsite following treatment. The site has been developed for commercial usage.
